A police officer was taken to hospital after being trapped in his patrol car following a crash.
The officer, who has not been named, was released from his car after the collision in Seaside, Eastbourne.
He was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital with cuts to his head but was allowed home after treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision, which happened early on Saturday, was not injured.
