A jazz night will kick off the Burgess Hill Festival tonight. Richard Bennett's New Orleans Jazz Band will open the festival at the Martlets Hall.

Other entertainment includes the Grand Carnival Parade, which will make its way through the town centre to St John's Park tomorrow.

Cyclists can take part in the 11th Burgess Hill Bike Ride, organised to help raise money for the St James Hospice.

And wrestling fans can watch Flash Barker, Jack The Ace, and Superstar Sanders battle it out on June 9.

Other highlights include a flower festival, blind date disco, churchyard walk, and poetry festival.

There will also be a netball tournament, photography contest and teddy bears' picnic.
