Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a missing 12-year-old girl who failed to arrive at her school in Hove.
Laura Armes - 5ft 5in with long blonde hair and blue eyes - was last seen on her way to Hove Park Lower School on Monday morning. She has not contacted friends or family since.
Laura, from Hangleton, was wearing black trousers, a white polo shirt and a blue school jumper.
A police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances but asked anyone with information to call them on 0845 6070999.
