Originally the front man for Sixties band Love Affair, Steve Ellis scored a Top Ten hit with Everlasting Love at the tender age of 16.

Forty years on, he has earned his place in UK pop music history and seen his name carved into the Brighton Walk Of Fame.

The past three years have seen eight re-releases of classic Ellis albums as well as a live DVD recorded in the UK in 2002.

Always fresh and creative, he has spent the past year recording a new album of songs including a new acoustic version of Everlasting Love.

Titled A Sort Of Innocence, the album features Ellis' voice at its best, as well as performances from Roger Daltrey and Paul Weller.

His gig at the Concorde 2 will celebrate the launch of the album and mark his musical return to his adopted home town of Brighton after decades of international touring.

Those who have tickets will be treated to a combination of material from the new album and a tribute to his early years in the industry but, most importantly, they'll be treated to the talent that is Ellis.

Show starts 8pm. Tickets cost £10. Call 01273 772770.
