I was so saddened when I read the story of the lovely lady who is so overcome with arthritis she cannot have a bath (The Argus, May 28).
I know just how she feels. I am a disabled pensioner who is also crippled in the same way.
I asked six years ago if I would be able to have some sort of bath I could walk into.
I was told they would do their best for me but I have not had an answer in any way whatsoever.
So I say to all pensioners, keep your chin up, some day soon you may be given just a little back of what you gave this country when you were able.
