Council bosses are to apply for money to improve transport in the countryside around Lancing.
The parish council will ask for a share of £12,500 being made available by West Sussex County Council to improving transport in rural areas of Worthing, Adur and Horsham.
The money is for authorities to provide a new transport service or improve an existing one.
