I must apologise to the residents of the Brighton's Deco Building, off Coombe Road, for inadvertently calling it Art Deco House in my Will Young ditty (Letters, February 25).

The correct name is a very ostentatious one for a former factory building.

It's hardly the definite article - still, that's property developers for you.

There are much better examples of the architectural style, more worthy of the title, in Brighton.

Notably, Princess House in North Street, Embassy Court (albeit not presently) in Kings Road and the modern-origin (will this contemporary phrase will catch on?) Van Alen Building in Marine Parade.
