The Post Office launched an advertising campaign yesterday to tell customers they will still be able to collect their benefits at its branches from April.
From next month, the Government will begin to pay benefits directly into a bank account.
But people will still be able to withdraw their benefits in cash at a Post Office if they have a bank account with one of seven banks.
