I am astounded at the inability of Blatchington Mill School's headteacher to manage diversity in his school.
Given the level and intensity of the protests Tony Blair and the Government have wholly ignored, to suggest the pupils hand in a petition smacks of political naivety.
These young people have taken a stance for what they believe in.
Why are they not being encouraged to channel and direct their energies instead of being penalised and excluded?
