Coronation Street serial killer Richard Hillman, played by Brighton actor Brian Capron, has been voted the top soap baddie of all time.
His evil crimes catapulted him to the top of the list that includes EastEnders wife beater Trevor Morgan and Brookside husband from hell Trevor Jordache.
Tricky Dicky was voted even badder than second-placed JR Ewing from Dallas in a TV Times poll.
Hillman murdered Maxine, bludgeoned Emily with a crowbar, killed ex-wife Patricia with a shovel and left business partner Duggie to die.
His reign of terror has not ended yet - Hillman heads back to Weatherfield this week and takes his family on a terrifying drive that ends with their car plunging into the icy waters of the local canal.
Only two women make the list: Emmerdale's Kim Tate, who taunted husband Frank into having a heart attack and Cindy Beale, whose crimes in Albert Square included hiring a hitman to kill husband Ian.
