Worthing were fortunate to run out 4-3 winners against Kent/Sussex Regional League bottom side Old Williamsonians.

Goals from Ramiz Inga and Mark Duncan put Worthing 2-0 ahead but the visitors drew level by half time and a penalty stroke put them 3-2 up in the second half.

After a succession of short corners Matt Ansell finally slotted one home to make it 3-3 five minutes from time and the same player scored again from a short corner in the final moments.

Worthing skipper David Edmondson said: "I was very relieved to get the three points but disappointed we let them back into the game after being 2-0 up so early on."

Horsham moved out of the bottom two thanks to a 4-3 win at home to Sevenoaks.

Scoring from open play has been the problem all season for Horsham but on Saturday they netted all four goals from open play.

Scorers were Stuart Donaldson, skipper Richard Lowe, Richard Blakesley and Dom Cohen.
