I write in support of all those who welcome refugees into our community.
It is a very courageous thing to stand up against the vile racism, selfishness, intolerance and personal attacks that come from a self-selected minority influenced by the vitriol of the tabloid Press and BNP.
The more of us who speak out against the narrow-minded few, the more we show them up for what they are and the more isolated they become.
