A birthday party ended in embarrassment when a young man who had been handcuffed had to be released by firefighters.
The youth, celebrating his birthday, was handcuffed by a stripper who left Langfords Hotel in Third Avenue, Hove, without releasing him.
Firefighters used bolt cutters to free the youth, who was bashful but uninjured.
