Desmond Gregory correctly observes the seafront bandstand is in a sorry state (Letters, January 30), which is why we are about to restore it to its former glory. Renovating the bandstand will be part of Phase 7 of our seafront development initiative, starting later this year.
This will include new loos, a petanque terrain and clubhouse, landscaping and artworks.
On a little point of detail, Mr Gregory, the bandstand is not in Hove but Brighton.
