May I thank the "white van man" who stopped and gave us assistance on January 21 at 12.25pm when our car broke down in the pouring rain outside Hove Cemetery going westwards.
We did not have a mobile phone and he did all that was necessary, stopping his van behind our car to alert any oncoming traffic.
The car did, in fact, restart and I was able to get home. This man's help and presence were sincerely appreciated.
