The county's most committed workaholic is in line for a new award and a new bed, courtesy of a Sussex company.

Sussex Bed Centres is looking for a person whose day goes well beyond the average nine-to-five and who 'out-grafts' the busiest of workers.

The winner will receive the Hardest Worker in Sussex award and a new bed.

Nominations must be made by a third party, should explain why the candidate qualifies for the title of the county's hardest worker and must be received by January 4.

Steve Pickering, a director of Sussex Bed Centres, which has a branch in Hove, said: "We are looking for a person who will undoubtedly work long hours, who is likely to regard hard work as fun and who may well find it difficult to switch off and relax.

"A comfortable bed is an essential for a good night's sleep, which is why we plan to present the county's top worker with a new bed."

Nomination forms are available at all Sussex Bed Centres. Alternatively, a letter of no more than 100 words should be sent to the local Sussex Bed Centre at Hangleton Road, Hove.
