Shop staff were forced into a room at gunpoint when robbers targeted a supermarket in Billingshurst.
Two men armed with handguns walked into the rear of the Budgens store on Tuesday at 9pm.
They forced staff into a room and stole money from the safe.
The men wore dark coloured or trousers. One wore a balaclava and the other a dark-coloured motorcycle crash helmet.
