A boy aged 14 was due to appear in court this morning charged with the rape of a 19-year-old woman.
The boy was arrested and charged yesterday following Operation Ounce, the police investigation into the alleged rape at Memorial Gardens, Crawley on September 30.
The boy, who lives with his family in the Crawley area and is in full-time education, was held at Crawley police station over night.
He was due to appear before Crawley Youth Court.
