When Claire Haigh's baby daughter Sofia died, all she had left were memories and a few precious mementoes of her short life.
Now thieves have stolen one of her most cherished possessions.
Sofia died last March, aged 20 months, from a heart condition.
Apart from photographs and videos, the family had few lasting memories of her. One was a gold bracelet given to her as a gift when she was born.
On November 22, thieves broke into the family's home in Kenton Road, Hove, and stole the bracelet and a matching one belonging to her elder sister Farannah, four.
Claire said: "It wouldn't be worth that much to anyone else but it is extremely precious to us. It is a special memory I have of her."
The thieves also took some of Claire's jewellery and a video camera.
Sofia's bracelet was an expandable gold band, similar to those often given as christening presents.
