A man was seriously injured when he was struck by a van in Eastbourne.
The 64-year-old victim was in collision with the vehicle in Brassey Avenue at 4.15pm yesterday.
The driver, a 22-year-old from Eastbourne, stopped and the local man was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital.
He sustained serious head and leg injuries and was today still in a serious condition.
Meanwhile, a man of 21 is in a stable condition after he was flung against the windscreen of a car as he crossed the road.
The accident happened in Seaside Road, Eastbourne, at 2.30am on Saturday. The pedestrian was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital.
In a third incident, two cars were in collision in Cooden, near Bexhill, just before 7pm on Saturday. Four people were hurt and taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
