An item commented on the fall in sales of the National Lottery (The Argus, November 27). This must mean sales are down all over the country.
So why, when I went in to Brightnews convenience store in Buckingham Road, Brighton, was someone from Camelot in there taking away the Lottery machine rather than coming up with ideas to help improve sales?
The Lottery machine helps the small shopkeeper maintain his customers. Now he is at risk of closing.
