Brighton-based new media agency Internate has designed and built a web site to help loudspeaker manufacturer, Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) of Worthing become a bigger noise.

The site, available in five languages, is aimed at existing and new customers and includes a product selector to help users find the right speaker, assistance to design a home theatre and a comparison tool for different product features.

It has 3-D product photography, which enables users to get a 360 degree view of more than 60 speakers.

The project was a collaboration between Internate and content management specialists, Redbanner, which is based in London.

Internate designed and built the user interface and navigation system, with the Flash animations featured throughout the site.

It worked with Redbanner to make sure B&W could update the site's content daily.

B&W has also chosen Internate to perform search engine optimisation for the site and provide email marketing services to mark its launch.

Lionel Nunney, B&W international marketing manager, said: "Internate were the unanimous choice for our web site development and their clean, stylish design, combined with technical know-how make for an extremely successful and enjoyable project.

"The site is already receiving some excellent feedback from customers and dealers."

Internate managing director Craig Hanna said:

"Working together, we have delivered a site that is striking in design, usability and allows B&W to update content whenever they require."

Internate recently won the contact to promote Virgin Holidays offers online.

The campaign will promote Virgin Holidays'
