Clubbers are today being warned to be on their guard this weekend after it emerged two women may have had their drinks spiked at a nightclub.
The young women in their early twenties, were taken to hospital after falling ill while clubbing last weekend at the G-Spot in George Street, Old Town, Hastings.
One woman collapsed, while the other fell ill with stomach cramps and complaints of feeling light-headed.
Both were taken to the Conquest Hospital in St Leonards, where doctors told police they may have had their drinks spiked.
They have now made a full recovery but police are urging clubbers to be vigilant of their drinks.
A force spokesman said: "We would advise people to keep an eye on their drinks."
