Su Pollard and Mark Wynter star in this feel-good musical following the rags to riches story of an orphaned little girl in Manhattan. Her only hope is to escape her mundane existence at the orphanage, where the tyrannical Miss Hannigan makes her life a misery. The show is packed with a number of show-stopping songs. THE TRAVELS, Gardner Arts Centre, Falmer, November 14
Forced Entertainment has a reputation for work which asks questions. This part confessional/part documentary revisits experiences, from fortunes told in different cities to making lists of overheard conversations. MURDERED TO DEATH, Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne, November 11-16
Agatha Christie spoof starring Are You Being Served's Trevor Bannister, Nicholas Smith, Geoffrey Davis and Anna Karen as Miss Maple, a well-meaning sleuth. Building on its unique and exciting performance style, Theatre O has produced the account of three family members. The family (The Strongs) are in desperate need for some insanity.
