How I agree with Mike Conetta (Letters, October 22) in remembering the "Shiny Ninth", which was always referred to as the forgotten army.
My husband was in Burma for a long time. He came home looking so ill with MS and malaria but the War Office did not want to know. It would be very nice if they were remembered on November 11 as they had a very rough time.
