Scintillating conversation and sparkling wit provided a night of entertainment with two TV news stalwarts in Eastbourne.
Political correspondent John Sergeant and newscaster John Simpson invited an audience to hear tales of life on TV and their political views at the town hall last night.
The event was arranged through Hammicks Bookshop in the Arndale Centre.
Manager Jeff Doak said: "I asked them a few questions to start off with, then we threw the questions open to the audience and they were a bit more political.
"People in Eastbourne really respond well to these events and had a great evening."
