A Sussex comedian faces an agonising wait to hear if his bid for TV stardom has succeeded.
David Taylor, of Tushmore Lane, Crawley, had a two-minute spot on last Friday night's edition of ITV's Stand Up Britain.
Viewers of the show, labelled "Pop Idol for comedians", have been voting on which of the four contenders should qualify for the grand final.
The winner will be announced on this Friday's show.
David, 44, said: "I don't think I'll win. Watching the show, I thought David Bloom, who was on after me, was better.
"They edited eight minutes down to two but it was a good experience to see myself on TV."
