A youthful Hastings & Bexhill outfit ran in eight tries as they racked up a 55-5 opening day win over Hellingly in Sussex One.
Eleven players in the side were in their 20s with six aged under-21 and they gave the visitors a torrid afternoon.
Tries came from captain Neil Redmond, Ben Campbell, Roger Roberts, Dave Sprinks, Seb Halligan, Dave Milham, Steve McManus and Andy Hinch. Sandeman kicked three conversions and Redmond two.
Uckfield came from behind to start their campaign with a 26-7 home win over Seaford.
Winger Nick Everson came off his line to put the visitors ahead with a fifth minute try converted by Simon Baker.
But Uckfield gradually got on top to score three tries, one of which was converted and three penalties.
Pulborough made a winning start at Chichester IHE where tries from Paul Bull and Jon Page helped them to a 15-5 win. David Elly added a penalty and conversion.
