Lewes boss Jimmy Quinn wants last year's exploits to inspire his players when they hit the FA Cup trail again tomorrow.

A preliminary round tie at home to Thatcham Town is far less glamorous than the Rooks' previous FA Cup outing, a first round tie at Stoke City last November.

But, having had a taste of the big time, Quinn is eager for more.

He said: "It was everybody's dream to do what we did last year. Fingers crossed, we can do well again.

"We will try to motivate the players with the prize of what they achieved last year. I am sure the boys who were there last year will want more of the same.

"We dumped a few sides on the way last year and we must remember that Thatcham could do that to us. It works both ways.

"The beauty of the Cup is that anyone can do what we did."

Gareth Green is rated 50-50 for tomorrow's clash at the Dripping Pan due to an ankle problem.

Lee Newman continues to struggle with a foot injury which has limited him to substitute appearances so far but Andy Driscoll returns from holiday.

Lewes have snapped up former St Leonards striker Tony Reid but he was not signed in time for tomorrow's game.
