Johnny Lord implies that gay clubs are where people go only to meet the love of their life (Letters, Aug 28).
Maybe it is a way of meeting people, however it's also about having a good time and dancing.
His distaste for straight women and the narrow way he seems to view those who visit gay clubs sounds similar to the limiting way I have heard some people speak about gays and lesbians.
One of the great things about living in Brighton and Hove is the acceptance of diversity.
