Has government been economical with the truth as there is no Freedom of Information Act on the statute book?
It seems the majority of the UK electorate is in favour of bringing back the death penalty but the House of Commons constantly rebukes public opinion.
The Government seems to have insidiously given away much of its sovereignty to the unelected EU Council of Ministers in liaison with the EU Court, then integrates legislation binding by treaty on all EU member states.
Does this answer why even if the House of Commons was to vote for revival of the death penalty, the Commons would be overruled by the EU Council of Ministers?
