With other forms of packaging, there is no need to take glass on to the beach. In many towns and around many pools it is illegal.
However, the Kemp Town beach is kept clean every day (unlike Dukes Mound behind it), and there is plenty of room for more swimmers. Unfortunately, there is no cafe, deckchairs or sun-loungers.
