Two newly-graduated Brighton University students shared this year's Mazars
Neville Russell prize for the best financial reporting student.
Faculty of Business graduates Dawn Grealish, 22, and Andrew Hepworth, 24, won the award, which is presented annually by the Brighton office of the accountancy firm.
Both Andrew and Dawn, who each graduated with a BA degree in accounting and finance, are set on continuing their studies to become chartered accountants.
Richard Hopkins, senior partner at Mazars Neville Russell in Brighton, said:
"They have obviously worked tremendously hard and thoroughly deserve this award."
The firm helps students and school leavers gain accountancy experience through its placement scheme. Brighton University student Frank Sutherland, 21, has completed a year-long placement at its Brighton office.
