An elderly woman who was involved in a car crash on a West Sussex dual carriageway has lost her fight for life.
Queenie Whitaker, 85, of South Holmes Road, Horsham, died in hospital at the weekend more than three weeks after the accident.
The crash happened when Mrs Whitaker's Mini was in collision with a Renault driven by a 39-year-old woman from Surrey on the A24 at the junction with Honeybridge Lane, near Old Barn Nursery.
