Ten people were taken to hospital after two separate car crashes in West Sussex at the weekend.

The first, a two-car collision, happened on the A24, two miles north of Dial Post, near Horsham, on Saturday, just before 5pm.

Six adults and a child were taken to Crawley with suspected minor injuries.

In the second incident, three men were injured when the car they were travelling in crashed into a street light on the A259 at Rustington on Sunday at 3.20am.

All the men were taken to St Richards Hospital in Chichester, with one seriously injured.
