S.L. of Lewes obviously has a deep hatred of motorcyclists. Was this due to some childhood trauma?

Please think a bit before you tar us all with the same brush. Motorcyclists, car drivers and cyclists all have their own minorities who spoil it for the majority.

Car drivers are the main cause of deaths of motorcyclists. That well-known quote "Sorry, mate, I didn't see you" comes to mind.

The next time you are stuck in a traffic jam and are passed by a motorcycle, just reflect it is not causing traffic congestion, is using less petrol than your car and will probably get to its destination before you as well.

I filter through traffic and overtake cars when the opportunity appears. It's called making progress. Ask a police motorcyclist - they do it too.

Point your vitriol at those who deserve it - people using their mobile phones while driving, drivers who do not indicate and who creep on to a roundabout before the traffic on it has exited and drivers with out-of-date tax discs and no insurance or MOT (they are costing you money). I drive a car, too, so I can see this from both perspectives .
