We are sorry Ann Norman (Letters, May 21) took exception to our letter.
We made no criticism of Tim Loughton's involvement but were merely responding to some phone calls received from his own concerned constituents following his warning in The Argus of how they would be affected by the proposed move of the Brighton Breast Care unit to Haywards Heath.
It is thanks to The Argus's efforts that everyone is kept up to date on the latest developments concerning Brighton's Breast Care unit.
All of us have been working hard together. Whatever our political persuasions, women's health must be more important than politics.
