A man grabbed a girl by the arm after making obscene comments to her.
The young victim was with two friends as she walked along Priory Road in Eastbourne.
She managed to break free of his grip and the group ran off.
The man was described as white, aged 18, 5ft 8in, thin, with fair hair.
He was clean shaven, had two chipped front teeth and wore a beige baseball cap, dark sweatshirt, beige tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
He had a distinctive croaky voice.
