With all this talk about Falmer being a "community stadium" and the problems the Albion had over control of the club, can anyone tell me why there is no supporters' trust at the Albion?

There are 31 league clubs with these, from Manchester United to Port Vale, and numerous more in non-league and Scottish football.

They usually have representation on the board and can liaise between supporters and the club as well as making sure there is a level of community and democratic involvement.

They can also assist financially.

Surely this is an essential democratic move for supporters to take? The time to do it is now or will we only hear of it when results start to go wrong?
