I recently chatted to JoAnne Good on her early- morning radio programme about my days as an extra in the 1961 Jack Warner film Jigsaw, shot entirely in Brighton and other local areas, including Lewes and Newhaven.
Jigsaw is one of many films made over the past 50 years in Brighton and is being shown as part of the forthcoming exhibition at the newly-refurbished museum.
On the programme, I also recalled watching scenes being shot at the entrance to the Palace Pier in 1954.
Norman Wisdom was on all fours and scampering about, barking like a dog, while his co-star, the lovely Joan Rice, looked on.
I wonder if anyone knows the name of the film being made and what became of Joan Rice?
