Forgive me if this sounds like a hare-brained idea but if the Falmer site is rejected, the Albion should consider building a site on the land west of Brighton Marina.
If anyone has been to the fantastic stadium at Monaco, they will know what I mean. That ground is built on reclaimed land next to the Mediterranean and part of it is actually built on concrete stilts over the sea.
The view is amazing. The land west of the Marina is semi-derelict and runs back quite far. It would not take a great deal to develop the site.
It's worth a look, anyway.
