Southwick Savages welterweight James Brewster came back strongly to claim a unanimous points decision against Stephen Ward.
He won out over Ward, from Ryde, Isle of Wight, in last night's Hove ABC annual show at a sold out Brighton Metropole.
Brewster was caught cold in the first round and received two standing counts but went on to dominate the next two rounds and take the decision 58-57, 58-56 and 58-57 on the judges' scorecards.
