PC Robert Leet showed courage and initiative when he wanted to chase a suspected drugs dealer in Brighton.
He commandeered a 12-year-old girl's mountain bike and pedalled furiously after the suspect, even though it was much too small for him.
A passing motorist invited him to join him and together they caught the man, who was carrying a substance believed to be crack cocaine.
It all goes to prove the truth of the old adage that Mounties always get their man - even if the Brighton rider was on a bike.
