Victoria Real's success in the field of digital media was recognised with a place in this year's Virgin Atlantic Sunday Times Fast Track league of top-growing companies.
The business was founded in 1990 and delivers digital solutions on the internet, digital television and communications for blue-chip consumer brands. In April 2000, Endemol Entertainment UK acquired a 50 per cent stake in the company.
The business has since suffered from a downturn in advertising revenue and is looking to the adoption of broadband and the move from analogue to digital TV.
Managing director Andy Taylor said : "I would like to see legislation to create a cost-effective share scheme that is easy to understand and implement and provides a good reward for all employees.
Mr Coward said: "Victoria Real's share scheme requirements are quite exacting but this is the sort of area the Chancellor might choose to review as a way of encouraging business performance without having to lower taxation."
