A ten-year-old girl suffered a swollen and cut lip after being kicked in the face in an unprovoked attack by a boy.
The boy, described as between 11 and 12 years old, circled her on his bicycle in North Street, Wick, Littlehampton, before kicking her twice in the body and once in the face.
He was white, 4ft 5in, with light brown, crew-cut hair.
He was wearing a blue-hooded jumper, trousers and white shoes.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
