Having just read Andy Fisher's review of The Christians' gig at the Brighton Centre (The Argus, March 28), I cannot believe he was at the same concert.

It would be fair to say the audience was small in a venue that should be beneath a group which, 12 years ago, was selling out venues such as the Brighton Centre, but to say there was no atmosphere was way off the mark.

Mr Fisher may not be a fan or even know of the band's tracks, except singles such as Harvest For The World, but, for true fans such as myself, the group is as good now as it always was.

Bigger is not always better. I accept this was his view and we are all entitled to our opinion but next time please send someone who knows the band and who understands quality vocals when they hear them.
