What a lovely interview with Dame Vera Lynn by Vanora Leigh (The Argus Weekend, February 23).
I agree with Jim Marshall (Letters, March 1) about Dame Vera, who is always there to help charities.
She never seems to say no. I hope and pray Dame Vera, who will be 85 this month, can carry on for many more years with her wonderful work. She is a great star and lovely lady.
