Why does Lib Dem leader Paul Elgood have to turn everything into his petty party politics?
The reply by the council's chief executive to Julie Burchill's latest ill-informed rant was factual, witty and appropriate.
Why shouldn't the chief executive put the record straight?
And aren't there rules and standards about councillors publicly attacking officers?
The error of judgement is Councillor Elgood's. He should be ashamed.
