A man needed stitches to his face and arms after he was hit over the head with a glass bottle in a street assault in Eastbourne.
The 24-year-old victim was walking along Susan's Road with a friend at 2.30am on Sunday when he felt a pain on the back of his head and fell to the ground.
He was slashed with the broken end of a bottle. Police were called and the man was taken to hospital.
His attacker was Oriental, about 25, 5ft 10in tall and had with short, black hair. He wore a black and white jacket.
