How dare K Taylor (Letters, February 4) assume all people who enjoy the wide-open spaces of downland are loners?
Even when living in Switzerland in sight of snow mountains I missed the gentle peace of the Sussex Downs and I am certainly not a loner. What better hobby than strolling across the Downs enjoying tfresh air and natural beauty all around? K Taylor is correct - we have the university so let someone else have the stadium. Once again, I note a supporter of the stadium doesn't live anywhere near Falmer so won't suffer the traffic chaos that it will cause we locals.
